Your Dental Implant Options

Single Dental Implants

We can replace a single missing tooth with the closest thing to natural teeth: a single dental implant. The dental implant post functions as the tooth root, stimulating healthy bone growth, and offering reliable function. Each implant is restored with a custom dental crown offering a seamless smile and natural-looking esthetics. No one will know the difference!

Full Arch Dental Implants

Using the ground-breaking All-On-X treatment protocol, we can offer our patients a full, beautiful smile as quickly as a day. All-On-X provides our patients the opportunity of permanent, natural-looking teeth through the placement of same-day implants followed by your customized restoration. The treatment offers a less invasive and cost-effective solution when compared to alternative implant systems.

Crown & Bridge

Traditional dental bridges require you to weaken adjacent teeth to act as the foundation of your new bridge. Instead, we leave healthy teeth untouched and use one or more dental implants to support a new bridge of teeth. This is ideal for those with two or more missing teeth in a row.

Common Questions We’re Asked About Dental Implants

A dental implant is made up of three parts: a titanium or ceramic post, an abutment and a restoration. Built to function like natural tooth roots, dental implants provide bone support and a stable foundation for a single dental crown, a dental bridge, a denture or a full arch prosthesis.

We take pride in helping your child achieve and maintain proper oral health. We provide exams and cleanings, x-rays, dental sealants, fluoride treatment, and monitor the development of oral structures like the jaw and teeth. We encourage you to bring your child to the dentist early to prevent negative associations and develop lasting oral hygiene habits.

The cost of dental implants is based on many factors, including how many teeth are missing and for how long, the types of materials used, and what additional procedures are needed. Our team can help you apply for dental financing and will file insurance claims on your behalf to help you afford treatment.
Dental implant treatment can range from a few months to over a year. In many cases, implants can be surgically placed soon after the consultation and treatment plan are complete. For patients needing bone grafting, this may be a separate procedure, requiring several months of healing before dental implant surgery. After dental implants are placed, healing can take three months or longer before optimal integration is achieved and a final restoration can be permanently attached. In many cases, patients can wear a temporary restoration during healing.
Dental implants are designed to last for decades, and have the potential to last for the rest of your life! Along with your health habits, surgical technology and clinical experience ultimately affect the longevity of your implants. Choosing an experienced implant team like ours at Long Island Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry provides more precise and accurate surgery that better guarantees the long-term success of your treatment.
